Unification of Wisdom

The background images were created by Maya Artist Juan Leon Cortez who is a Quiche Maya artist. His brothers Miguel and Mario are also amazing artist, keeping the heritage of their culture alive. All of them are in the film and we are very greatly to know them and to get to share thier beautiful work with everyone. Here is an image of their original art.

Photography, ink drawings, paintings, and multimedia inspirations created by producer Whitney Kear. All artwork was inspired by film production travels to Guatemala and was displayed at Big Umbrella Studios in San Francisco in April/May of 2009 during the art exhibition "RECUERDO". All proceeds directly benefit the completion of the documentary and are funneled back into the indigenous communities filmed as much as possible. Originals, prints, and personal requests available.
